A frameless shower door is made from thick tempered glass held by small hinges and clips instead of a metal frame. Because every bathroom is slightly out of square, each door and panel is measured on site and cut to fit your walls, curb and ceiling height. We handle the whole job: measurement, fabrication and shower door installation.

How thick is the glass in a frameless shower door?
Frameless shower doors are normally 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch tempered safety glass. The thickness depends on the panel size and how the door is supported, and we confirm it at the measurement visit.
When should I schedule the measurement?
After the tile is finished. Shower glass is cut to the finished surfaces, so measuring before tile is complete leads to gaps or panels that do not fit.
